Humans of City Furniture: Amber

[dropcap custom_class=”normal”]Meet Amber Patrick: City Furniture photographer, former Beijing coffee shop owner, and current human trafficking activist. When divine intervention led Amber to move to China and open a coffee shop, her purpose become clear when she met a woman who ran a school rescuing victims of human trafficking. Amber began employing the recent graduates as they transitioned into their own careers. And as she watched the former street kids pursue their dreams—opening a bakery shop and video editing, to name a few—Amber knew what she had to do. Struggling financially herself, she returned the states, completed her degree in photography, and cofounded Martial Arts Against Human Trafficking.
