As the Broncos and the Panthers get ready to face off in the Super Bowl, we’re celebrating with our own form of friendly rivalry in the ultimate furniture showdown. Read the stats and then share your winning picks.
Sectional versus Sofa:
If a sectional is basically two sofas in one, then it must be the clear winner, right? Not so fast, because the traditional sofa puts up a pretty strong defense. Not only does it fit in almost any space, but it also typically comes with more color and style options.
Entertainment Wall versus TV Stand:
One stands large and in charge, while the other takes a more subtle approach to your living room decor. The perk of the entertainment wall is that it holds all of your media with room to spare for accents and collectibles, but we do love the mobility of a TV stand—plus it’s less surface area to dust.
Rectangular versus Round Dining Table:
While the traditionalist in us loves the classic shape of the rectangular dining table, we have to admit the round table is better for keeping everyone engaged in the conversation. That being said, the rectangular table will likely hold more food and guests, but then again, a round table promotes a more intimate atmosphere.
Recliner versus Accent Chair:
It’s hard to beat the comfort factor of a good ol’ recliner, but we can’t deny the versatility of an accent chair. You can use it in the living room, dining room, or bedroom, and you can choose a fun fabric that adds a pop of color. But it doesn’t come with a built-in footrest, so it’s a tough call.
China Cabinet versus Server:
Both were made for dining room storage, but the china cabinet stands tall and vertical while the server is low and horizontal. While it ultimately might come down to your layout and size preference, china cabinets usually put it all on display while servers keep it tucked away. If you’re looking for classic, big-time storage, then the china cabinet wins out—but if you want a sleek profile and food serving options, the server is likely the one for you.
